Hey friend,

Why do we stop when we are 90% done with a task? Everyone does it. Do you know why?

Some Thoughts

Someone said; “Stop calling meetings so you can simply organise your own thoughts with witnesses”. This is funny because it’s true. We have ALL been in those meetings. Clearly seeing that the organiser has not taken the time to think before calling you all in to discuss things. Don’t lead your own team in this way. Take the time on your own before you use the time of others.

What you will learn this week:

☀️ Why a 60 day sprint works so well

🌍 Exactly how to make your goals happen

🍄 The daily non-negotiables for success

There are 60 Days Left to Win the Year. Time for One More Big Goal.

I woke up this morning with a realization that hit me like a cold shower: we have just 60 days left in the year.

Sixty days.

This is my last chance to turn 2024 into something extraordinary.

And yours too.

You know that goal you’ve been pushing to the back of your mind? The one that makes your heart race a little faster when you think about it? It’s time to drag it into the light.

Right now, we’re standing in that sweet spot of urgency and possibility.

Sixty days is an interesting number – it’s long enough to accomplish something significant but short enough to sustain an all-out sprint.

It’s the perfect window for one last push toward something meaningful.

Think about it.

What’s the one thing you could achieve in the next two months that would make you look back at 2024 with pride?

Perhaps it’s finally launching that side business you’ve been planning in your head.

Perhaps it’s completing that piece of writing that’s been sitting in your drafts folder.

I re-discovered Reddit. The project management community seems pretty vibrant. And it's given me the space to answer questions in much more depth. Conversation and engagement on Reddit seems better than on LinkedIn. Which do you prefer? Check out this post which went viral.

Welcome to our weekly newsletter! 19 January 2025 Hey friend, I have a little analogy for you this week. Imagine flying a plane. Taking off is the hardest part right? Then its just cruise. The same thing applies to learning. The beginning is the hard part. But don't give up. It gets easier. Some Thoughts Podcaster Dr Chatterjee used a really interesting phrase which I thought I’d share. He talked about putting the “spotlight of gratitude” on your life. Taking the time to focus on little...

Welcome to our weekly newsletter! 12 January 2025 Hey friend, Exciting news this week. We just finished filming for our first course "Remote Project Management Mastery". It took a while but I wanted to get this right. And to give you all the information you need and nothing that you don't. The course will be out in February and I'll let you know more soon. Very exciting! Some Thoughts I recently watched a pretty inspiring YouTube video by an Australian creator. He spoke about reframing your...

Welcome to our weekly newsletter! 5 January 2025 Hey friend, Welcome to 2025 and our first newsletter of the year. I hope that you plan big and achieve big this year. And I hope that we can keep providing you value in your project management (and life) journey. Some Thoughts “The road to success is paved with mistakes well handled.” ~ Danny Meyer. I think about this quote when I am disappointed. I don’t think it needs much explanation. When something bad happens to you, feel free to feel it....
